Wendy Berman, LCSW-C graduated from the University of Maryland School of Social Work with an MSW in 1996. Wendy has been in private practice since 2002 and works extensively with survivors of trauma. She has sub specialties in eating disorders, depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and complicated medical diagnoses. Prior to working in private practice, Wendy worked in various other settings including The Johns Hopkins Hospital on the inpatient Eating Disorder Unit, Jewish Addiction Services, and The Arrow Center for Education, a nonpublic school for children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges.
Wendy is passionate about her profession, as well as guiding people to realize their own inner resilience, strength, creativity, and resourcefulness. A main goal at The Trauma Resource is to connect people with the realization that they have the power to achieve their greatest potential, no matter what life may look like today.
